The 4 am Report

Mar 3, 2021

Welcome to another edition of the 💫4 AM Report💫 and what’s keeping us up at night is that hot fart under the covers (aka Dutch Oven). This week we talk to Mairlyn Smith, the Queen of Fiber (and fart jokes) and only professional home economist in Canada who can tell us what to do about that smelly surprise under your blanket.

Author of best-selling cookbook Peace, Love and Fiber and alumnus of the Second City Comedy Troupe, Mairlyn brings improv into everything she does, and she thinks you should too. She'll break down why:

✅ Censoring yourself blocks creativity

✅ Being real and relatable means not trying to be funny (although you know you’ve succeeded if your audience gets your fart-jokes (or whatever makes you, you))

✅ Getting fricken full with fiber supports your gut and boosts your immune system (and prevents those beautiful internal poo sculptures)

If it sounds irreverent, it is. But there’s a bucketload of wisdom to be found in this episode. Have a laugh, have a listen!
